Explore the CiviCRM Demo

This page highlights a few core workflows you can explore in the demo.
Each section explains what the workflow supports and where to look in the system to see it in action.

Designed for Real World Use

Cards

Contacts and Relationships

Contacts serve as the central record for people and organizations. Each contact brings together activities, memberships, contributions, event participation, and communications to support long-term relationship tracking in one system.

Try this in the demo

  • Search for a contact and open their record
  • Review tabs like activities, memberships, and contributions
  • Switch roles to see how access differs

Membership Lifecycle

Membership records support ongoing relationships with individuals and organizations. Membership status, renewals, and related payments are tracked alongside contact data and are available for reporting and analysis.

Try this in the demo

  • View active and expired memberships
  • Submit a membership form
  • Open a report related to membership status

Events and Participants

Events support public listings and online registration. Event records store details, dates, and capacity, while participant records connect registrations back to contacts for tracking attendance and engagement.

Try this in the demo

  • Configure an event registration page
  • Register for an event using a front-end form
  • Review event participants

Contributions and Fundraising

Online donation forms create contribution records tied to contacts. Contribution data supports tracking payment details, donation history, and giving trends across individuals and organizations.

Try this in the demo

  • View contribution records on a contact
  • Submit a donation form
  • Explore contribution-based reports

Communications

Email tools support outreach and engagement using contact data. Mailings, activity history, and engagement metrics connect communications back to contacts, memberships, and contributions.

Try this in the demo

  • View groups or segments
  • Review communication activity on a contact record
  • Explore bulk email tools as a staff user

A Note About the Demo Environment

This demo uses sample data and resets on a regular schedule. Changes you make will not be saved long-term. Some features, such as real email sending and payment processing, are disabled.

The goal is to provide a safe place to explore how CiviCRM works in practice.
